    The Rio Grande Valley Celtic Festival & Games in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is an annual celebration with fun and games for the whole family. The festival’s highlight is the series of athletic events that test strength and skill, including the Scottish Hammer Throw, the Sheaf Toss and the Stone Put. There’s also a rugby tournament, Scottish and Irish dance, Celtic music and bagpiping events, and the line-up of Children’s Activities include animal exhibits, arts and crafts, games and more.

    A festival celebrating all things Celtic; including Celtic entertainment, traditional food and merchandise vendors, competitions in Highland dance, bagpiping, athletics, tug-o'-war; historical re-enactment and demonstrations, Celtic clans and societies, genealogy, educational workshops, plants and geology of the Celtic regions, and a fun and festive children's area including our signature oatmeal toss.

    The Aztec Highland Games features eight Celtic Heavy Athletic events. These include the Sheaf Toss, Weight for Height (or Weight over Bar), Braemar Stone (or Stone Put), Light and Heavy Scottish Hammer Throw, Light and Heavy Weight for Distance (or Weight Throw), and Caber Toss. Though not in the title of the event, half of the fun is two full days of Celtic Music. This is the largest Celtic Music Festival in the Four Corners

    The Moab Celtic Festival brings to life the rich heritage and colourful history of Scottish and Celtic cultures through education, crafts, music, highland dance/competition and athletic competition. Patrons can listen to the crowds cheering for the athletes competing, while watching the swirling skirts and dancing feet of the highland dancers. Many clans will be in attendance to share their history and information about their clan.

    Come and Join the whole Clan as we this Festival to commemorate Hawick's Reiver heritage. Expect a costumed procession on the Saturday morning, living history displays, a series of entertainments, sports, lectures throughout the day, a market, and the Hot Trod torchlight procession on the Saturday evening followed by fireworks at Wilton Lodge Park - Last years saw the Routledge Clan Society become the first Reivers Family to hold a stall. This year it is hoped more will follow our lead....
